Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily, monthly, and annual maintenance of:
  • MV & LV switchgears
  • MV/LV circuit breakers
  • APFC / RTPFC panels
  • Battery chargers and battery banks
  • Maintenance of HT & LT motors, MOVs, and related electrical equipment.
  • Basic understanding of electrical control wiring and industrial automation systems.
  • Experience working on Heat Tracer systems.
  • Knowledge of VFDs and Soft Starters and their applications.
  • Identify electrical faults, troubleshoot issues, and replace faulty components.
  • Handle shift operations, including:
  • DG sets
  • Gas turbines
  • AHUs and auxiliary equipment
  • Prepare and update preventive maintenance checklists.
  • Follow all electrical safety procedures and site safety norms.
  • Coordinate effectively with Siemens engineers, BPCL representatives, and team members.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • ITI Electrical with minimum 5 years of experience
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience
  • Experience preferred in:
  • Refinery
  • Petrochemical
  • Fertilizer
  • Process plant environments
  • Valid Wireman License preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in HT/LT motor maintenance is an added advantage.

 

  • Skills Required
  • Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems
  • Ability to work in rotational shifts
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Awareness of EHS and safety compliance
