Job Title: Financial Controller (AGM to GM Grade)

Job Summary:
To lead and manage the financial strategy, planning, and operations of an Auto mobile component manufacturing company., ensuring financial health, statutory compliance, cost efficiency, and business growth. The CFO will play a critical role in driving financial discipline, supporting decision-making, and building a robust financial framework aligned with the company’s vision of becoming a Great Place to Work and a leading player in the automobile rubber component manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
· Develop and execute financial strategies to support business objectives and long-term growth.
· Partner with CEO and senior leadership team in decision-making and strategic planning.
· Drive cost optimization, working capital efficiency, and capital allocation.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
· Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles.
· Provide variance analysis, profitability analysis, and actionable
insights to management.
· Establish KPIs and dashboards for business performance monitoring.
3. Accounting, Compliance & Controls
· Oversee end-to-end accounting, reporting, and audit processes.
· Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS), Companies
Act, GST, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
· Implement and monitor strong internal controls and risk management
systems.
4. Treasury & Working Capital Management
· Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and cash flow.
· Optimize working capital across receivables, payables, and inventory.
· Drive efficient fund utilization, liquidity management, and hedging strategies (if
applicable).
5. Manufacturing Finance & Costing
· Implement robust costing systems for rubber manufacturing processes (mixing, molding,
compounding, assembly).
· Monitor plant financial performance, yield, scrap, and overhead absorption.
· Partner with plant heads to improve productivity and reduce costs.
6. Business Growth & Governance
· Support new business initiatives, capex projects, and M&A evaluations.
· Ensure governance, transparency, and financial integrity at all levels.
· Prepare management and board-level financial presentations.
7. Team Development & Leadership
· Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team across corporate and plant
locations.
· Build a high-performing finance function with a focus on digitalization and automation.
· Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Deliverables
· Timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
· Achievement of budgetary and profitability targets.
· Reduction in cost of finance, overheads, and working capital cycle.
· Zero non-compliance in audits and statutory requirements.
· Strong financial governance supporting sustainable growth.
Competencies Required Technical Competencies
· Strong knowledge of financial planning, accounting, and taxation in India.
· Hands-on experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and plant-level financial control.
· Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally Prime or similar).
· Knowledge of financial risk management, treasury, and compliance frameworks.
